Author & Cousin Injured In Highway Crash

June 24, 2012 at 12:38 am 1 comment

On a somber note, the author of the book “Witness Protection” and my cousin, Richard Bennett, was in a serious highway accident this morning with his wife, when a truck rammed into their boat trailer, pinning him.  Our prayers go out to him and his family.

UPDATE: It saddens me to say that Richard Bennett, age 45, died July 3rd without regaining consciousness due to injuries suffered from the Eastex Freeway crash on June 23rd. Funeral services will be held Monday July 8th in Beaumont, Texas. Richard will be sorely missed by all of us.

Prayers goes out to your family. Rev. Bennett is a minister at church and we love the Bennett’s very much. I pray for adjustment.
