The Internet Officially Sucks

We are entering yet another new era for the Internet —  a very sad pessimistic one. You don’t have to take my word for it at all, but you should at least think about it and consider what I am…

As soon as the industry decided that smartphones were better then computers that’s when it started to suck as most smartphone users no nothing about computers beyond how to turn them on and make a bunch of lights blink. In some cases they don’t even know how to go that far.

Schools are JUST NOW starting to teach computers BUT it should’ve been done 20 DAMN YEARS AGO!!!!

Sorry for swearing but it angers me seeing so much teaching potential wasted by idiotic bureaucracy.

My schools didn’t even get internet until 1999 or 2000 and the school computers in the late 90s were all from the late 80s and were dogs hardly worth anything other then Reader Rabbit and calculator.

There was a lot more out there in the market for teaching tools that schools totally ignored. I guess they must’ve had some kind of contract with Reader Rabbit which is why they were stuck with it when so much more was available and better for kids

Dad got me into the education stuff for the PC industry and I enjoyed it as well as traditional learning.

Today all kids know how to do is play hack n slash and become killing machines.

Go to any store and all you will get is smartphones and tablets with a few Windows 10 machines which you can’t change the hardware or do any configuration.

Windows has written 10 so you can’t dual boot the machine due to heavy DRM placed in it so MS will always show up first no matter what you do.

Gateway Computers ALSO did that for a short while back in the mid 2000s which tech sites got it on the news and Gateway went under shortly thereafter and Gateway is known for it’s horrible service.

This was when Vista came out.

I have a Gateway not knowing any better back then. It’s modified now and is working pretty well but it’s still a Gateway. 😦

Mine is a 2008 Gateway right when they were doing that. Microsoft in 2006 wanted to make it so computers couldn’t be duel booted and experimented with Gateway to see how it would work out.
